Specimen Type: Urine, random
Container/Tube: Urine Complete Cup Kit-Specimen collected in a container with either an acid or base is not acceptable.

Specimen Volume: 10 mL

Collection Instructions: No additive.

Laboratory Processing Instructions:

Test performed in BJH Core Lab.  Mix urine well. Record volume, period, and pH on request form. Using 13x100 test tube, prepare a 7-mL tube for processing by automated line for delivery to the Cobas 8000. Completed specimens are stored refrigerated for 5 days.
