Methodology

Screen:  Enzyme Immunoassay

 

Testing Algorithm:

Samples containing greater than 5 ng/mL of norfentanyl, fentanyl or other cross-reacting analogues are reported as screen positive, presumptive.  False positive and false negative results are possible.  Confirmatory testing required for definitive results.  Results are presumptive for medical purposes only.  If the screen is positive, confirmation LAB3879 will be performed automatically by LC-MS/MS, at an additional charge.

Container/Tube: Yellow-top urine collection tube or plain red-top tube (full)

Specimen Volume: 10 mL

Collection Instructions: No additive.
