Methodology

Screen: Kinetic Interaction of Microparticles in Solution (KIMS) 

 

Testing Algorithm:

Samples containing greater than 100 ng/mL of nordiazepam or other cross-reacting substances are reported as screen positive, presumptive.  Results are presumptive for medical purposes only.

Container/Tube: Yellow-top urine collection tube or plain red-top tube (full)

Specimen Volume: 10 mL

Collection Instructions: No additive.

The following drug(s) will be confirmed for positive screen:  alprazolam, clonazepam, flunitrazepam, lorazepam, midazolam, nordiazepam, oxazepam, and temazepam.

Immunoassay screen cut-off level: 100 ng/mL.
Note: Drug results are to be used only for medical purposes. All results, especially unconfirmed screening results, must not be used for non medical purposes.
