Reference Values
The American Diabetes Association (ADA) recommends that an albumin/creatinine ratio be reported on all random urine specimens for microalbumin analysis. In accordance with ADA recommendations, the reference range for microalbumin analysis is:
<30 mg/g creatinine (milligram/gram of creatinine)
Calculated ratio above 30 mg/g CR with “<” result will flag as abnormal and will be reported as See Comment with a comment addition of “Unable to Calculate Exact Result.”
