Methodology

Multiplex Flow Immunoassay

The Bioplex assay for Gliadin-IgA simultaneously measures Total IgA. If the Total IgA result indicates IgA deficiency (<7 mg/dL), the IgA result will be credited.  A result of IgA Deficient will be reported and generate a reflex add-on order for the Gliadin-IgG assay.
