ESTIMATED AVERAGE GLUCOSE

Not established

Note: The American Diabetes Association (ADA) recommends reporting an estimated average glucose (eAG) with all hemoglobin A1c results using the equation derived from a study of 507 normal and diabetic adults. Minority populations were under-represented and children were not included. The eAG is not equivalent to a fasting glucose.
